Full-time Position Overview The Workday HRIS Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the Workday Payroll platform in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role partners closely with Payroll, HR Operations, and HR Technology to maintain payroll configurations, support ongoing enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure payroll accuracy across a complex organization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities shift frequently. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing production support, project work, and urgent business requests while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service. Key Responsibilities Workday Payroll Support Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, including earnings, deductions, payroll calculations, and business processes. Support payroll-related configuration changes driven by union agreements, organizational changes, acquisitions, and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot payroll issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions. Support Workday biannual releases, testing, and production deployments. Business Partnership Collaborate with Payroll, HR Operations, Finance, and HR Technology to gather requirements and deliver system solutions. Support payroll integrations with external vendors including retirement, benefits, and post-payroll systems. Assist with data validation and reconciliation across Workday and integrated applications. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes through automation and system enhancements. Participate in system testing, documentation, and change management activities. Help establish best practices while supporting an organization that continues to evolve. Qualifications 3+ years of Workday Payroll configuration and production support experience. Strong understanding of payroll processing, payroll business processes, and integrations. Experience supporting large, complex organizations; union experience is highly preferred. Ability to analyze issues, prioritize competing requests, and work independently. Success Profile - The ideal candidate: Is comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly. Can shift between operational support, project work, and production issues with little notice. Maintains composure and attention to detail while managing multiple competing priorities. Enjoys solving problems and adapting to changing business needs. Builds strong relationships across HR, Payroll, and IT while remaining customer focused.Benefits
