Milwaukee, WI or Chicago IL (Remote but Hybrid Preferred) Position Overview The Workday HRIS Time & Absence Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing Workday Time Tracking and Absence functionality across the organization. This role partners with HR Operations, Payroll, and business leaders to maintain accurate timekeeping, leave plans, and system configurations while supporting ongoing organizational change. This position requires someone who enjoys working in a rapidly changing environment where new priorities, business requests, and operational needs emerge frequently. Success in this role requires flexibility, strong analytical skills, and the ability to pivot quickly without sacrificing quality. Key Responsibilities Time & Absence Administration Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules. Support configuration updates related to union agreements, policy changes, acquisitions, and organizational restructuring. Troubleshoot system issues related to accruals, leave plans, schedules, and time entry. Ensure accurate integration between Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll. Business Support Partner with HR Operations, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend Workday solutions. Perform testing for releases, enhancements, and production changes. Validate system data and ensure ongoing compliance with company policies. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve business processes and automate manual work. Support documentation, testing, and change management activities. Participate in ongoing Workday optimization initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years of Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence configuration experience. Strong understanding of leave administration, accruals, schedules, and timekeeping. Experience supporting complex organizations with changing business requirements. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Success Profile - The ideal candidate: Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities and business needs change frequently.
