Job Description

Job Description IRI is seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Associate to join a strong team of HR professionals in the social services industry. As a Talent Acquisition Associate you will play a critical role in the the talent acquisition function of the organization. About IRI IRI is a thriving nonprofit organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Queens, Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. IRI provides a supportive and safe living environment that encourages the growth of the individual and supports independence (incorporating technology and other creative tools). Key Responsibilities:
Design recruitment strategy to identify top talent for entry level and managerial postions Collaborate with management team to carry out all necessary recruiment activites to achieve program staffing goals and requirements Network with various colleges, universities and other organizations to build a pipeline of qualified candidates Create and maintain various reports including applicant tracking, vacancy and turnover Onboard new employees ensuring compliance with governing regulations About You You are the ideal candidate if you are an HR professional motivated by empowering underserved communities . Being a self-starter, creative, driven, flexible and responsive are critical attributes to be successful in this role. You have at least a Bachelor's degree You have a minimum of 1 year of experience Human Resources roles You have professional maturity and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills You are a problem solver with proven ability to design and implement systems You are technology savvy with excellent command of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) You are a good team player and highly energetic
