Job Description

Are you passionate about empowering young people and helping them reach their full potential? United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Development Specialist to join our team for the summer. As a specialist, you will work closely with youth providing guidance, mentorship, and organizing engaging activities.
Typical hours during school year:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2:00pm
  • 6:15 pm Wednesday
  • 1:00pm
  • 6:00pm (Week days may require some morning/mid day shifts for recess programing)
Job Summary:
Responsibilities Youth Engagement:
Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities that promote positive youth development. Foster a safe and inclusive environment where young people can learn, grow, and build meaningful connections.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other staff members, volunteers, and community partners. Coordinate with local organizations to enhance program offerings and provide additional resources for youth.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of program attendance, incidents, and evaluations. Prepare reports as needed to assess program effectiveness and outcomes. This is a paid position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals.
