Job Description

Your role As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives for Edwards CC North America. These include management development programs, core and functional competency training, and early careers programs. This role will directly impact workforce retention and capability, aligned with our people & Culture OGSM. You will research best practice, support the design and delivery of learning solutions, and ensure key projects and priorities are successfully embedded and evaluated. You will also act as the owner and super user/administrator of the Learning Link (LMS), ensuring it is fully optimized and accessible for all employees across all roles, locations and career levels. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver management, professional development, early careers, and upskilling programs in collaboration with HR and senior leaders. Conduct Learning Needs Analyses by function, including role, gap, and solution analysis. Develop a structured L&D framework that builds capability, engagement, and retention. Lead leadership and management capability development from supervisor to senior leader. Manage external training providers and monitor L&D budget spend. Produce learning reports and measure program effectiveness. Partner with Talent Acquisition on interns, apprentices, and graduate programs. Support a consistent L&D strategy across Vacuum Technique divisions. Develop local L&D policies and support continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Educated to degree level or equivalent. Training certifications strongly preferred (CLDP, DDI, MBTI, Disc, etc) Experience of designing, leading and delivering learning and development solutions/programs within a global organization required. Experience of talent and leadership development up to senior management level preferred. Operational training experience; must be able to develop and deliver training modules for common business competencies. In-depth understanding of learning and development practices and multiple delivery mechanisms. High degree of interpersonal and presentation skills. Must be able to collaborate with and consult with a wide range of people across the business. Self-managing individual, capable of working autonomously who is innovative, creative and solutions based. A flexible and proactive approach to cope with constantly changing environment and priorities. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Strategic thinking and ability to align leadership development initiatives with business goals. Strong project management skills and the ability to plan and execute key milestones and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong Microsoft skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Lists, Forms and Power BI.
