NOAA/NESDIS
leadership and Workforce Engagement Branch personnel to support training coordination, facilitation, organizational learning, and workforce engagement initiatives. This position will be located at our office in Silver Spring, MD and has been approved for a hybrid work schedule.Primary Duties:
- Training and Facilitation Support
- Develop and deliver professional development courses and learning materials aligned with NESDIS organizational priorities.
- Facilitate training events utilizing established behavioral assessment tools and methodologies.
- Coordinate and support leadership development activities, professional skills training, and workforce engagement initiatives.
- Support planning and facilitation of offsite meetings, workshops, organizational retreats, and strategic engagement sessions.
- Develop facilitation scripts, executive-level briefing materials, training content, and organizational learning documentation. Workforce Engagement and Organizational Development
- Support succession planning activities, workforce development initiatives, and organizational competency building efforts.
- Coordinate logistics, materials, scheduling, and communications associated with training and workforce engagement events. Communications
- Support coordination of workforce communications and employee engagement activities.
- Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and executive briefings supporting workforce initiatives.
Required Education/Experience Skills:
- B.
M.A./M.S.
degree in Education, Organizational Management, Human Capital Management, Communications, or related field- 10-15+ years of experience supporting training, facilitation, workforce engagement, organizational development, or learning initiatives
- Understanding of Federal workforce development and organizational learning practices
- Executive facilitation and training coordination skills
- Communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Strong organizational awareness
- Ability to support multiple concurrent workforce initiatives Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements.
