Our team works hands-on with dogs every day through training, enrichment, structure, and meaningful relationship-building. You'll work alongside experienced staff, gain valuable knowledge in canine behavior, and be part of a team that genuinely loves what they do. Responsibilities Safely handle and supervise dogs throughout the day Provide feeding, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, and general care Assist with structured play and socialization Reinforce basic obedience and training throughout the day Follow individual care and training plans Monitor behavior, body language, stress, and arousal levels Safely manage dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments Assist with boarding and Day School routines Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary facility Communicate with trainers and other team members regarding each dog's progress and needs Follow all safety, handling, and training protocols
Qualifications Required:
Previous hands-on experience working with dogs Confidence handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments Basic understanding of canine body language and behavior Ability to safely manage energetic and strong dogs Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work on your feet and perform physical tasks throughout the day Willingness to clean, lift, walk, and perform all aspects of professional dog care
Preferred:
Experience in dog training, daycare, boarding, veterinary medicine, grooming, shelter/rescue, or another professional animal-care setting Experience working with reactive or behaviorally challenging dogs Interest in pursuing a career in dog training or canine behavior What We Offer Hands-on experience in a professional dog training environment Opportunity to learn directly from experienced trainers Exposure to canine behavior, handling, enrichment, and training Team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth within the company If you are passionate about dogs but also understand that professional dog care requires skill, structure, consistency, and hard work, we'd love to meet you!
