Technology Trainer Blackstone Valley Comm Pawtucket, RI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Spreadsheets Presentations for conferences or internal meetings Word embeddings User training (technical support) Clinical staff training Cultural competency Medical records Instructor-led training (training delivery method) Working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds Medical terminology Full Job Description SUMMARY In partnership with team members, and in accordance with standardized training schedules and in line with the overall strategic and project-based plans in the organization, the Technology Trainer is responsible to interact directly with the providers and support staff to design, configure, test, train, implement and support the use of clinical and operational technologies. The Technology Trainer is responsible for assisting in the development of clinical and operational technologies training materials and related workflow and course documentation, development and implementation of related policies and procedures and continuance of ongoing structured training delivery such as on-boarding, upgrades, new technology and refresher courses.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Associate or Bachelor degree in related field required or relevant certifications in standard operational software (MS Office) and clinical information systems Minimum of 3-5 years EHR experience required Previous EHR/PM training experience required Proficiency using EHR/PM software systems required; super-user experience is strongly preferred Ability to effectively present information to groups and individuals through verbal and written formats required Working knowledge of workflows required Proficiency in medical terminology required Microsoft Office skills that include, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Reliable transportation required Bilingual ability in English and Spanish, Portuguese or Creole speaking abilities preferred Cultural sensitivity necessary to work with a diverse patient and staff population required Ability to work independently and collaboratively required Knowledge of computers and electronic medical records required Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
