In this energetic role, you'll provide top-notch grooming services that enhance each pet's comfort and appearance while building strong relationships with pet owners. Your expertise will ensure every dog leaves feeling pampered, confident, and looking their best. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards or customer preferences Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care, ensuring their safety through proper animal restraint techniques Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat styling to maintain optimal hygiene and appearance Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet coat maintenance Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and work areas after each appointment Assist with animal handling during grooming procedures to ensure comfort and safety for both pets and staff Experience Prior experience in pet grooming and animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a strong plus Familiarity with animal restraint methods, pet coat styling, and pet nail trimming techniques is essential Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners about grooming needs and health concerns Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger dogs or equipment Clean Driving Record Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional pet care in a lively environment where every day brings new furry friends to pamper!
