! As a Kennel Technician at HeartStrings Pet Resort, you will play a vital role in the care and well-being of our furry guests. Located in a prime area designed for relaxation and enjoyment, this position is essential in maintaining the high standards of care that our resort is known for. Responsibilities Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kennels and play areas. Monitor the health and behavior of pets to ensure their well-being. Assist with animal restraint during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed. Engage pets in play activities to promote socialization and exercise. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors. Requirements Experience in pet care or kennel environments is preferred. 18+ years old Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques. Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required by the job. Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners positively. Basic knowledge of veterinary care is a plus, but not required.
