Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets with enthusiasm, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they arrive Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and direct calls with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate client records using Word processing and database software; update files regularly to ensure organization Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, proofreading documents, and managing appointment calendars Support office management tasks including inventory checks, supply ordering, and maintaining a clean, organized front desk area Assist with client communication via email or phone, providing information about services and pet care tips Ensure smooth daily operations by coordinating between clients, staff, and service providers while adhering to office protocols Skills Proven office management experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with general computer literacy and typing skills Excellent customer service skills with a friendly phone etiquette for handling inquiries via multi-line phone systems Previous clerical or administrative experience, including filing, proofreading, and time management Strong client communication skills to build trust and rapport with pet owners Personal assistant or office support experience is a plus to handle varied responsibilities efficiently This paid position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with people and pets alike, and is eager to contribute to a positive community-focused atmosphere.
