    days work week/2 days off
  • days off Fridays and Saturdays 8am-5pm Due to the nature of what we do, and the number of horses we care for, we are not able to accommodate school, or part time/personalized schedules.
Must be 18+ years old Weekend availability required:
Sunday Basic Requirements:
  • Show up when scheduled
  • Good work ethic
  • Able to handle independently a wide variety of horses (we deal with mainly racehorses)
  • Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, comfortable working outside year round. Please be aware that this job consists of a GREAT amount of walking horses outside in sandy/deep footing.
  • Have positive attitude, good communication skills, be flexible, and able to work well in a team.
  • Not a position for individuals new to horses, or with little horse experience.
  • Solid horsemanship and confidence skills needed due to the type of horses we care for. Main duties include handwalking of race and sport horses, turning horses in/out, grooming, bathing, hold horses for procedures and for farriers as needed, and light cleaning at the end of the day. Pay commensurate to experience with possibilities for growth. Important
