The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the skills necessary to provide high-quality grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners to ensure a positive grooming experience while maintaining the health and well-being of the animals. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and other pets. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper handling and restraint techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and any concerns observed during the grooming process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Assist in animal care tasks such as feeding, walking, and monitoring pets before and after grooming appointments. Stay updated on pet care trends, grooming techniques, and breed-specific requirements to provide the best service possible. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields is required. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and address their needs effectively. Experience in dog handling, animal restraint, and general animal care is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy animals safely as required during grooming sessions. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus but not essential. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential for success in this role.
