Job Description
- Join Our Team as a Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
- We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters.
Availability:
We require team members with flexible schedules who can commit to at least four days per week and a minimum of 10 hours weekly for a 12-month period. Please only apply if you can meet the following shift requirements:Split Shifts:
- 7:30 AM-10:00 AM and 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, available any day of the week.
Midday Shift:
- 9:00 AM-2:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities Include:
Walking dogs of all sizes and breeds, and managing those that may pull. Ensuring the safety and well-being of each pet. Providing necessary care such as fresh water, food, and administering medication. Cleaning up after dogs during walks, and maintaining clean backyards and litter boxes. Adhering to specific care instructions given by pet owners. Reporting any health or behavioral issues to the pet owner or supervisor promptly.Candidate Requirements:
Experience caring for your own or others' pets. Flexible schedule and the ability to work on short notice. Desire to work between 10-20 hours per week. Reliable vehicle with valid insurance, license, and registration (mandatory). Smartphone with a large data plan. Physical fitness to walk at least 3 miles per day. Willingness to drive 30+ miles per day for visits. Capability to handle all types of dogs, including larger breeds and those untrained. Openness to training, such as online courses in animal behavior, CPR, and First Aid. Availability for 6-hour shifts during our peak periods, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weeks. Comfort with cleaning tasks, including litter boxes and backyard waste.Service Areas:

- $17.25 for the walk
- ~$5 for drive time
- ~$4.20 gas reimbursement (tax-free)
- ~$3 in tips
