As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for the grooming and care of various breeds of dogs, ensuring they look their best while also prioritizing their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities Perform grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of each animal's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming options and aftercare. Handle animals safely and comfortably, using proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to pet owners or management. Skills Proficient in dog handling and grooming techniques for various breeds. Knowledge of animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment.
