We are conveniently located next to SFO and offer pet daycare, boarding and grooming! We are currently seeking aFULL TIME
Dog Daycare attendant with aFLEXIBLE
schedule. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:- Performing arrivals and departures of guests
- Interacting with clients with a positive attitude
- Managing playgroups with 20+ dogs (both small and large)
- Completing paperwork while monitoring dogs (Report cards and daily notes)
- Completing health checks of dogs (checking over body, ears, gums, paws, etc.)
- Cleaning of the play area continuously throughout the day
- Safely escorting animals throughout all areas of facility while on leash
- Supervising Lake Play (group of dogs playing with toys at our signature lake play area)
- Feeding animals
- Sanitizing rooms and conducting spot checks
- Dishes and laundry
- Monthly deep cleaning Required Qualifications
- Ability to handle dogs on or off leash, in a pack environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to effectively change tasks quickly throughout shift
- Must be able to maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility for all pet guests.
- Organized and uses time management skills to stay on task to assigned duties.
- Must operate all equipment and uses chemicals safely and efficiently.
- Passionate about the health and well-being of dogs and cats and team member associates.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or longer Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends (please do not apply if you are not available to work on holidays). Pay rate is competitive per our industry and our location. Advancement opportunity available after 90 days of employment and an exemplary review.
