We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to various pets, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their appearance. Duties:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or pet owner preferences.
• Handle and restrain animals with care and compassion during grooming sessions.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment for pets.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements and preferences.
• Monitor pets for any health issues or abnormalities and report findings to the appropriate staff.
• Provide basic grooming services for different types of animals including dogs, cats, and other small pets.
• Ensure the comfort and well-being of pets throughout the grooming process.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or similar role.
• Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Familiarity with dog training, kennel operations, pet care, animal handling, and restraint techniques.
• Ability to handle animals with patience, empathy, and respect.
• Experience in equine grooming or heavy lifting is a plus.
• Certification as a Veterinary Assistant is advantageous but not required.
