Job Description
Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily grooming operations to ensure efficiency and quality service. Train and mentor grooming staff on best practices in pet grooming techniques and customer service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the salon. Schedule appointments and manage the grooming calendar to optimize workflow. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to animal care. Assist with grooming services as needed, including bathing, trimming, and styling pets. Manage inventory of grooming supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth. Requirements Proven experience in a pet care or grooming environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of animal handling, care, and behavior. Experience in kennel management or as a veterinary assistant is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for handling larger breeds or equipment. Familiarity with dog training techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and inventory efficiently. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
