Responsibilities Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments during bathing, grooming, and drying processes Perform pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming services with precision and care Restrain animals appropriately using animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Assist with pet sitting or light pet care duties as needed to support overall animal well-being Handle heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs, grooming tables, or supplies Requirements Proven experience in dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training principles and veterinary experience is a plus Ability to work with animals safely using proper animal restraint techniques Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners confidently and professionally Physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting heavy equipment or pets, and performing repetitive tasks Experience with animal handling across various species such as equine or companion animals is beneficial but not required A genuine love for animals combined with a proactive attitude and attention to detail Join us in creating a positive experience for pets and their owners!
