Experienced Dog Groomer - Escape the Salon & Go Mobile Savannah / Pooler | $50,000-$70,000 per year + tips Love grooming but tired of the noise, interruptions and drama of a busy salon? Take your grooming skills on the road. Furry Land Mobile Grooming is looking for an experienced professional dog groomer to join our Savannah-area team. With mobile grooming, you work independently with one pet at a time in a fully equipped grooming van. Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience required.
You should be comfortable with:
Breed-specific cuts and styling Bathing, drying, brushing and de-shedding Nail trimming and ear care Handling dogs safely and compassionately Communicating professionally with pet parents A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required. About the Role We are hiring an experienced Dog Groomer / Pet Groomer to join our growing mobile grooming team serving the Savannah area. Earn $50,000-$70,000 per year ($900-$1,300 weekly) while working independently in a fully equipped mobile grooming van . This position is ideal for professional groomers who want better pay, flexible scheduling, and a calmer work environment than traditional grooming salons. Work one-on-one with pets and avoid the stress of busy salon environments. Responsibilities Provide professional dog grooming and pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, de-shedding, and styling Groom dogs, cats, and small pets safely and compassionately Follow proper animal handling and restraint procedures Operate and maintain a clean and organized mobile grooming van Use professional grooming tools and veterinary-approved products Maintain accurate grooming notes and service records Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Work independently while completing scheduled grooming appointments Qualifications Minimum 1 year professional dog grooming experience required Mobile grooming experience preferred but not required Strong knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming styles Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical grooming tasks Valid driver's license required Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement) Strong customer service and time management skills Schedule Full-time and part-time opportunities available Day and morning shifts 10-hour shifts Weekend availability required No late evenings Compensation & Benefits $50,000 - $70,000 annual earnings potential $900 - $1,300 weekly average income Commission-based pay Customer tips Performance bonuses Flexible scheduling Professional development opportunities Company grooming van and professional tools provided Work Location Mobile grooming routes based in Savannah, GA and surrounding areas .
