Morning Dog Walker (Part-Time) Job Summary The Furry Ohana is looking for a dependable, animal-loving Dog Walker to join our growing team! This is a part-time morning position, working Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM. You'll spend your mornings visiting clients' homes, walking dogs, and providing exceptional care while building trusted relationships with both pets and their owners. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and working independently. Reliability, punctuality, and excellent communication are essential, as our clients trust us with both their pets and their homes. Schedule Monday-Friday Approximately 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM Additional hours may become available for the right candidate Responsibilities Walk dogs of various breeds, sizes, and energy levels safely and confidently. Follow each pet's individualized care instructions and walking routine. Visit clients' homes while maintaining professionalism and respect for their property. Ensure pets have fresh water, clean up after them, and monitor their health and behavior during each visit. Provide detailed visit reports, photos, and GPS tracking through our pet care app. Communicate any concerns or changes in a pet's behavior promptly. Arrive on time and complete scheduled visits reliably. Deliver outstanding customer service and help create an exceptional experience for every client. Qualifications Must genuinely love dogs and enjoy working with animals. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Smartphone with reliable internet access. Comfortable walking several miles each morning in Hawaii's weather conditions. Able to manage dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Strong time management and communication skills. Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently. Previous experience with dogs, pet care, animal shelters, veterinary clinics, or dog daycare is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person. Why Join The Furry Ohana?
