Job Summary Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Daycare and Boarding PET PAL , where your enthusiasm and compassion will create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. ensuring pet safety, and maintaining a clean and organized facility to promote the well-being of all animals in our care. Key Responsibilities Feed, water, and care for dogs, cats, and other animals according to established schedules. Clean and sanitize kennels, runs, and common areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Washing dishes. Cleaning and changing mops/mop buckets throughout the day. Preparing pet food bowls Changing water bowls in play areas throughout the day. Sweeping and mopping common areas. Exercise, walk, and socialize animals as directed and if needed. Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, stress, or unusual behavior and report concerns to supervisors. Assist with animal intake and discharge procedures as directed and if needed. Maintain accurate records of feeding, medications, and daily observations as directed. Ensure animals have clean bedding, fresh water, and appropriate enrichment. Follow all safety, sanitation, and animal handling protocols. Assist with laundry, stocking supplies, and general facility maintenance. Qualifications Previous experience working with animals is preferred. Knowledge of animal behavior and safe handling techniques is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, responsible, and compassionate toward animals. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30-50 pounds if needed. Able to handle animals of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments only as directed. Willingness to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks. Scheduling:
Must be able to work one weekend day and one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years) . Wage based on previous experience and performance. •We're looking to
FILL TWO POTENTIAL FULL TIME POSITIONS.
This position starts off as part-time for the training period then will become a full-time shift. However, requesting part time shifts only can be discussed. Shifts starts as early as 6:00 AM. Closing shifts end at 7pm. Flexible shifts based on availability. Morning shifts required for training before able to do afternoon shifts.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
