Bubbles & Bows is under new ownership and will be reopening next month with a renewed focus on exceptional grooming, outstanding customer service, and creating a great place for professional groomers to build their careers. We are hiring TWO experienced professional groomers to work alongside our Salon Manager. We are looking for groomers who take pride in their work, understand that every dog deserves patience and compassionate care, and want to become part of a professional, growing salon. This isn't an opportunity where you have to start from scratch! You are joining an established Loves Park grooming business with more than 3,000 existing clients, now backed by new ownership that is ready to invest in the business, the team and its future.
Ideal Qualifications/Experience:
Professional dog grooming experience Strong dog-handling and restraint skills Knowledge of breed-specific cuts, coat types, and grooming techniques Safe use of clippers, shears, dryers, and grooming tools Ability to recognize stress, aggression, and basic health concerns Strong attention to detail and time management Excellent customer service and communication Pet CPR/First Aid certification preferred Grooming certification (NDGAA, IPG, AKC S.A.F.E., etc.) preferred but not required
Salary:
Commission-based with opportunity for control over your income and opportunity to increase percentage (listed hourly pay is a starting estimate).
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
