Bubbles & Bows is under new ownership and will be reopening next month with a renewed focus on exceptional grooming, outstanding customer service, and creating a great place for professional groomers to build their careers. We are looking for an experienced, talented professional who is ready to take the lead of an established grooming salon. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for animal care with strong leadership skills, ensuring every pet receives top-quality grooming services while providing exceptional customer experiences. Duties Manage daily salon operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards. Lead and motivate a team of groomers and pet care professionals to deliver outstanding grooming services. Oversee pet handling during grooming procedures, including dog handling, animal restraint, and animal care techniques. Ensure all pets are groomed to customer specifications with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and overall pet grooming excellence. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, and pet health considerations. Maintain accurate records of services performed, client preferences, and health notes related to veterinary or veterinary technician experience. Support pet care activities such as dog training, animal handling, and basic veterinary assistance when needed.
Ideal Qualifications/Experience:
5+ years of professional dog grooming experience Graduated from or completed training through a professional grooming school or academy Strong knowledge of breed-specific cuts, coat types and grooming techniques Excellent scissoring, clipping and finishing skills Leadership skills and the ability to train, coach and support other groomers Strong customer-service and communication skills A commitment to pet safety, cleanliness and professional grooming standards The ability to help manage scheduling, workflow and day-to-day salon operations A positive, dependable and professional attitude Bubbles & Bows already has an established client database of more than 3,000 clients. We are looking for the right person to step in, lead the grooming department and help us take an already-established business into its next chapter.
Salary:
Commission-based with opportunity for control over your income (listed hourly pay is a starting estimate).
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
