Reports To Supervisor and Manager:
Position Type Part-Time Shift Times Kennel staff are required to be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays 6:00 AM

  • 9:00 PM Job Summary Supervise daycare and boarding dogs in a safe, structured, and engaging environment while providing enrichment activities and maintaining a clean facility.
Kennel Duties Feed and medicate dogs accurately Monitor dog behaviors and report concerns Maintain pack stability and safe play groups Assist with foster dog care Reception and Customer Service Duties Greet clients professionally Check dogs in and out Answer inquiries and schedule reservations Communicate professionally with clients Complete report cards and send to clients Cleaning Duties Pick up after dogs Sweep, mop, laundry, dishes, and sanitation Maintain organized work areas Outdoor cleanup as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Professional and friendly demeanor Comfortable handling groups of dogs Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments MUST work well under pressure and in high-stress situations Working Conditions Position may require working days, nights, weekends, holidays, and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Working with animals can be loud and stressful, requiring patience and the ability to complete tasks accurately during shifts. Physical Requirements Stand for long periods Kneel, crouch, stoop, climb, lift objects and dogs up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. For employee safety, staff must be physically capable of handling dogs of all sizes on and off leash. Visually observe injuries and health concerns Additional Employment Information All employees are subject to a 90-day probationary period.
