Job Description

DAYPLAY & BOARDING MANAGER
We're looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Manager to join our team! This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position for someone who has professional experience working with dogs, strong people skills, and the ability to confidently lead a team in a busy dog daycare and boarding environment.
What You'll Do:
Supervise, train, and support our DayPlay & Boarding team Manage staff scheduling and daily responsibilities Safely supervise and manage groups of dogs Recognize canine body language, play styles, and behavioral cues Maintain high standards for animal care, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation Oversee feeding, medications, belongings, and boarding procedures Communicate professionally with pet parents at check-in and check-out Handle customer questons and concerns Monitor inventory and facility needs Step in and work alongside the team wherever needed
What We're Looing For:
Prior professional dog-care experience is required Management or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of dog behavior and safe handling Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Confident and professional leadership skills Ability to remain calm and make good decisions in stressful situations Physically capable of safely handling large dogs and performing cleaning duties Reliable transportaion Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed This is not a desk management position. Our Manager is actively involved with the dogs, employees, customers, and daily operation of the facility. Because we care for live animals that depend on us every day, reliability, accountability, attention to detail, and excellent attendance are extremely important.
