Retail Shift Lead - Pet Boutique & Grooming Salon $14-$17 per hour | Full-time | In person

Schedule:

Eight-hour shifts, including at least one weekend day each week. We are a locally owned pet boutique and grooming salon looking for a dependable and motivated Retail Shift Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with customers, supporting coworkers, and helping keep the store running smoothly. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable taking the lead during their shift, and interested in pet nutrition and animal care. What We're Looking For Previous retail experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong customer service and sales skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Reliable transportation Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Comfortable using POS systems and basic scheduling software Comfortable providing direction and feedback to coworkers Genuine interest in pet nutrition, pet health, and animal care Availability to work at least one weekend day each week Responsibilities Help oversee daily store operations during assigned shifts Assist with opening and closing the store Lead by example and help keep the team on task Support and train employees on store procedures, sales, and customer service Assist customers with product recommendations and promote grooming services Help the store meet sales and performance goals Maintain inventory, merchandising, cleanliness, and organization Handle customer concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary Communicate important updates and concerns to management Complete assigned operational tasks accurately and on time Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with a 4% employer match Paid time off Employee discount Flexible scheduling Performance-based bonus opportunities Closed on major holidays Please submit your resume and complete all application questions.
