Kennel Attendant Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our pet care team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and attention to animals in our facility, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong work ethic to maintain a clean and safe environment for pets and staff alike. Duties Handling dogs and other pets with care and professionalism, ensuring their safety and comfort during their stay Providing daily pet care, including feeding, administering medications if necessary, and monitoring health and behavior Maintaining cleanliness of the pet care facility through sanitization and regular cleaning routines to promote a hygienic environment Assisting with pet boarding services, ensuring pets are properly housed and cared for throughout their stay Observing animals for signs of distress or illness and reporting concerns to management promptly Qualifications Ability to handle dogs safely and confidently in various situations Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and sanitation standards Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods Reliable, responsible, and attentive to the needs of animals in a caring manner Join our team as a Kennel Attendant if you are passionate about animal welfare and eager to contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pets.
