Job Description
- full or part time.
Duties:
- Provide professional pet grooming services to clients' pets, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards or client preferences.
- Perform basic grooming tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health and communicate any concerns or recommendations to pet owners.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of grooming tools and equipment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process, including proper handling and restraint techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in pet grooming is required. Willingness to learn and develop grooming skills is essential.
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
- Familiarity with basic grooming care such as nail trimming and ear cleaning.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and understand their grooming preferences.
- Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments with patience and compassion.
- Physical stamina to stand for a period of time and perform lifting when necessary.
- Saturday availability: 3 a month, Required.
