The Role:
We're hiring an experienced Dog Groomer to join our tight-knit team. You'll work in a busy, professional environment where quality, safety, and animal welfare always come first. This isn't just a job — it's a chance to do meaningful work with animals and build real relationships with the pet families we serve. What You'll Do Perform full-service grooming: bathing, brushing, drying, clipping, styling, nail trims, and ear cleaning Handle all breeds with patience, confidence, and care — especially anxious or reactive dogs Assess coat, skin, ears, and eyes and flag any concerns to pet owners or management Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and deliver consistent, high-quality results Keep your station and shared grooming areas clean, organized, and properly sanitized Work collaboratively with daycare and boarding staff to support smooth daily operations What We're Looking For 1+ year of professional dog grooming experience (required) Confidence handling a wide variety of breeds and temperaments Working knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming standards Calm, patient, and compassionate approach — especially with nervous dogs Strong communication skills with pet owners Grooming certification or formal training is a plus, but hands-on experience speaks for itself Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay (commensurate with experience) Health insurance Flexible scheduling available Paid time off A supportive, animal-loving team environment Schedule & Logistics Full-time or part-time available Day shift (required) Must be able to commute to or relocate to Cohasset, MA 02025 before start date In-person position — this role cannot be performed remotely
