Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Bathing dogs of all sizes and breeds with care and attention.
- Safely handling dogs on a leash or tether and ensuring their comfort during grooming.
- Assisting the grooming team with tasks such as brushing, drying, and prepping pets.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including managing pet hair, cleaning chemicals, and wet areas.
- Providing a positive and calming experience for pets, even in a noisy environment with barking. What We're Looking For This role is perfect for someone who loves animals and doesn't mind hard work. Here's what we need from you:
- Physical stamina : Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout an entire shift.
Strength :
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.- Comfort with the environment : Willingness to work around barking, pet hair, cleaning chemicals, and wet conditions.
- Dog-handling skills : Confidence in safely managing dogs on a leash.
- No prior experience required : While experience is preferred, we welcome individuals with a love for animals and a willingness to learn and are willing to provide paid training for the right individual.
Shifts Run:
Monday thru Friday approximately 8am-3:30pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm. Saturday availability isREQUIRED.
