Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional care for pets in a kennel or veterinary setting. This role involves ensuring the health and well-being of animals, maintaining a clean environment, and delivering excellent customer service to pet owners. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness in kennels and animal living areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management. Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required for animal care and facility maintenance. Experience Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Experience with kennel operations or animal restraint techniques is a plus.
