Job Description
- Assist in the daily care and well-being of animals in the kennel
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to schedules and specific instructions
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal areas
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Provide basic grooming and bathing for animals as needed
- Assist with animal restraint during veterinary examinations or procedures Experience
- Prior experience in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
