Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to the dogs in our facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for animal care and a desire to work in an animal care setting. Potential for 20-30 hours per week- must be available to work morning and afternoon shifts during the week and weekends.
Duties:
- Provide daily care and attention to dogs in the kennel including watering , play, and exercise
- Clean and sanitize kennels and common areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the team
- Maintain accurate records of animal care
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
