Job Summary Do you love animals and take responsibility seriously? Twin Cities Pets is an established professional in home pet care company serving Saint Paul and surrounding areas and we're looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and animal savvy person to join our dog walking and pet sitting team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing a job well, and genuinely enjoys getting to know and care for individual animals. What You'll Be Doing Walking dogs safely in their neighborhoods Providing in home care for cats and other pets Feeding pets and administering medications as needed Monitoring pets for behavioral or health concerns Handling dogs calmly and safely, including leashing and basic restraint Following detailed care instructions Communicating clearly about each visit Representing Twin Cities Pets professionally in clients' homes and neighborhoods This Role Is a
Good Fit If You:
Are consistently available during weekday midday hours (10 AM to 2 PM) Have meaningful experience caring for animals. Professional experience is not required Pay attention to animal behavior and individual personalities Are dependable and take responsibility seriously Are comfortable working independently and making good judgment calls Communicate clearly, reliably, and professionally Can adapt when schedules change. Flexibility is essential in pet care Are looking for a long term position rather than short term or seasonal work Location & Transportation Because you'll drive between clients throughout your shift, you must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance. We're primarily looking for applicants who live in Saint Paul or within approximately 5 miles of Saint Paul. Living close to our service area is important because of the amount of driving involved in this position. Requirements Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance Smartphone for scheduling and communication Ability and willingness to work outdoors in Minnesota weather Experience caring for animals Ability to follow detailed care instructions Ability to commit to the position for at least 12 months This is a W2 employee position, not an independent contractor or gig position.
