Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Kennel Staff members to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional animal care, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting our veterinary team with daily kennel operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals and contribute to their health and happiness. Responsibilities Ensure the well-being of animals by feeding, watering, and monitoring their health status regularly Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through thorough sanitization and disinfecting practices Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and pet care activities to ensure comfort and safety Support veterinary staff with tasks such as animal restraint, grooming, and basic animal behavior assessments Perform outdoor work including walking dogs and cleaning outdoor kennels or play areas Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or team lifting tasks to prevent injury Experience Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling enhances your suitability for the role Knowledge of kennel operations, pet grooming, and animal behavior is a plus Demonstrated ability to perform cleaning duties in pet care facilities while maintaining sanitization standards Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members Physical capability for outdoor work and heavy lifting required for kennel maintenance tasks Join us at Stillwater Veterinary Clinic where your passion for animals meets a rewarding career!
