Marvelous Mutts | Springfield, MO Marvelous Mutts is looking for an experienced full-time dog groomer to join our growing team! We are a lower-stress luxury grooming salon where quality matters more than quantity . We have a strong and growing client base, giving you the opportunity to get established while also building your own loyal clientele as you grow with our salon. What We Offer Full-time W-2 position 50% commission Flexible scheduling Bather assistance available Established and growing client base Opportunity to build your own clientele Smock and sharps allowance Continued education opportunities after 1 year of employment Supportive, team-oriented environment Low-stress salon where quality and the comfort of the dogs come first Job Responsibilities Provide professional grooming services from start to finish Comfortably and safely groom large breed dogs Perform breed-specific and pet trims according to client requests Safely handle dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and coat types Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming area Complete general salon cleaning and upkeep Check clients in and out when needed Take quality photos of finished grooms for clients and salon marketing Communicate professionally with clients about their pets' grooming needs Work as part of a team to provide excellent care and customer service Follow salon safety and low-stress handling procedures Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional grooming experience Must be confident and capable of grooming large breed dogs Strong dog-handling skills and a commitment to animal safety Reliable, professional, and dependable Good communication and customer service skills Comfortable working independently while also being a team player Willingness to help with cleaning and general salon responsibilities Able to take professional photos of completed grooms Willingness to build and develop your own clientele over time About Marvelous Mutts We believe grooming should be a positive experience for both the dogs and the people caring for them.
