Apply in person or send resume to laundromutt@att.net Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling tailored to each dog's breed standards and owner preferences Safely handle dogs during grooming sessions using animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety for both pets and staff Assess each dog's coat, skin condition, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming procedures Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special care instructions, and any health concerns observed during sessions Assist with pet handling tasks such as dog training, pet sitting, or basic veterinary care when needed Support team will have lifting tasks related to animal care as required Experience Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of different coat types and breed-specific styles Background in dog handling, animal restraint, or pet care that demonstrates confidence working with animals of various temperaments Experience in animal handling across or small animals is beneficial but not required Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and ensure a positive experience for clients Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous for understanding animal behavior and care needs Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and standing for extended periods while maintaining a lively, energetic attitude Join us in creating joyful grooming experiences that leave pets looking great and feeling even better!
