Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every pet leaves our facility looking and feeling their best. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hygiene and appearance of our furry clients while providing exceptional customer service to their owners. Responsibilities Safely bathe dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and coat types Properly shampoo, condition, rinse, towel dry, and blow dry dogs Brush and comb coats thoroughly before and after bathing Perform nail trims/grinding and basic ear cleaning as trained Identify and report skin issues, matting, fleas/ticks, injuries, or unusual behavior to the groomer Safely handle nervous, energetic, senior, and difficult dogs Assist groomers with handling and other tasks when needed Clean and disinfect tubs, kennels, tables, floors, equipment, and bathing areas throughout the day Wash, dry, fold, and restock towels Keep shampoos, supplies, and work areas organized and stocked Help maintain a clean, sanitary, professional salon from opening through closing Follow all salon safety, sanitation, and animal-handling procedures What We're Looking For We need someone who is: Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willing to work hard and stay productive without constant supervision Patient and compassionate with animals Able to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback Detail-oriented and willing to learn A team player who helps wherever needed Comfortable getting wet, dirty, covered in hair, and occasionally dealing with less-than-glamorous messes Physically capable of standing for extended periods and safely handling/lifting dogs Experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. We are willing to train someone who has a strong work ethic, is dependable, and genuinely wants to learn. This is a physically demanding position. Bathing is much more than simply washing dogs—it requires safe handling, attention to detail, efficiency, cleanliness, and teamwork. We take the quality of our work and the safety of the pets in our care seriously. We're looking for someone who wants to become a valuable, long-term part of the Rolling Stone Pet Spa team.

From $14.00 per hour
