Pet Services Specialist Basil's Boutique Bandanas & Pet Sitting Services, LLC Basil's Boutique is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic Pet Services Specialist to join our growing pet care team! This position is perfect for someone who loves animals, enjoys being active, and takes pride in providing exceptional care and customer service. As a Pet Services Specialist, you will provide professional in-home pet care for our clients while they are away, as well as scheduled dog walking services. You will play an important role in giving pets the attention, exercise, companionship, and care they need while giving their owners peace of mind. Responsibilities Provide professional in-home drop-in care for dogs, cats, and small animals Provide scheduled dog walking services Feed pets and provide fresh water according to individualized instructions Administer medications when properly instructed and comfortable doing so Provide exercise, playtime, enrichment, and companionship Safely walk dogs while following each pet's individual needs and handling requirements Clean up after pets and maintain a clean and safe environment Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, appearance, or overall well-being Follow detailed care instructions provided by each client Communicate promptly with the Basil's Boutique team regarding concerns or unexpected situations Provide clients with updates and photos during visits Maintain a professional and respectful presence in clients' homes Safely travel between scheduled appointments Maintain accurate visit notes and documentation through our scheduling and pet-care management system Represent Basil's Boutique with professionalism, kindness, and exceptional customer service What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy Compassionate and genuinely passionate about animals Comfortable working independently in clients' homes Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, personalities, and energy levels Attentive to detail and able to follow individualized care instructions Comfortable walking dogs and being active throughout the day Able to recognize when a pet may need additional attention or veterinary care A strong communicator who responds promptly to the team and clients Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile scheduling applications Able to manage multiple scheduled visits throughout the day Professional, friendly, and respectful Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Previous professional pet-care, veterinary, kennel, daycare, training, or animal-care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
