In this role, you will be responsible for supervising playgroups, ensuring animal safety, and providing exceptional care that promotes happy, healthy dogs. Responsibilities Monitor and supervise dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions and prevent conflicts Assist with dog handling, restraint, and behavior management to promote positive socialization Maintain cleanliness of the facility through pet grooming, sanitization, and kennel cleaning routines Provide pet sitting services including feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed Support pet boarding activities by ensuring animals are comfortable and secure in their kennels or outdoor areas Engage in outdoor work such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor play areas, and supervising outdoor activities Uphold animal care standards by following proper handling procedures and ensuring animal restraint protocols are followed Skills Experience with veterinary assistance or veterinary technician roles is highly valued Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of dog training techniques and behavior cues Previous kennel or pet sitting experience demonstrating responsibility and reliability Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Knowledge of pet grooming, sanitation practices, and facility sanitization procedures Familiarity with pet boarding operations, animal restraint techniques, and pet care best practices Outdoor work experience that includes managing animals in open-air environments confidently
