Your expertise will help foster a positive experience for pets and their owners alike, making every visit enjoyable and stress-free. We are committed to supporting your growth in animal care and grooming skills within a lively, pet-loving environment. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling to meet each pet's specific needs and owner preferences Handle animals with care, ensuring safe restraint and gentle handling during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall hygiene to recommend appropriate grooming routines or veterinary referrals if needed Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide advice on pet care and maintenance Assist with pet handling during other activities such as vet visits or training sessions when necessary Support team members with kennel duties, pet sitting, or basic animal care tasks as required Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with knowledge of various breeds' grooming standards Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain pets safely and compassionately Familiarity with dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is highly desirable Experience working with veterinary technicians or assistants, especially in animal care environments such as kennels or clinics Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of grooming supplies or equipment handling Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with pet owners and address their concerns confidently Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet care best practices to ensure safety at all times Prior experience in animal handling across different species such as dogs, cats, or equines is a plus Join us if you're eager to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners by delivering top-quality grooming services in a lively, supportive environment.
