Fear-Free Dog Groomer About Us Let's Train! Dog Training & Behavior Consultants is seeking a professional Dog Groomer to join our growing team. Unlike many grooming salons, our focus is not on volume. We groom one dog at a time by appointment and prioritize safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive experiences for every dog we serve. What You'll Do Perform bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and grooming services Complete pet trims and maintenance cuts for common family breeds and mixed breeds Monitor dogs for signs of stress and adjust handling accordingly Maintain a clean and professional grooming area Communicate with clients regarding grooming goals and recommendations Follow Fear Free handling and safety protocols Required Qualifications Professional dog grooming experience Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong animal handling skills Excellent customer service skills Compassionate approach to working with dogs Preferred Qualifications Fear Free Certified Professional Groomer Experience grooming doodles, poodles, Golden Retrievers, Airedales, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and similar breeds What We Offer Hourly pay plus tips Existing client base Flexible scheduling Fear-Free training and mentorship Supportive, low-stress work environment Opportunity to work alongside canine behavior professionals No production grooming requirements No pressure to maximize daily dog volume Quality-focused culture that prioritizes animal welfare Discounts on retail products Schedule Weekdays 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM initially, with flexibility for mornings and weekends.
