Kennel Technicians are responsible for the day-to-day care of dogs in the facility, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and monitoring to ensure the health and safety of dogs during their stay. Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects, the dexterity and confidence to administer medications, and the ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease. Must have the ability and willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for client dogs. Experience with dogs preferred but not required. Must be a dependable self-starter who can work well independently and with a team. Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to remain calm and provide humane care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Must be able to lead and inspire others.

Requirements:

Able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs with no restrictions. Bending, crouching, reaching, walking and lifting required. Must have own transportation. Must be available/willing to work some weekends and holidays. Must be subject to a background check. About Paws on
