Excellent communication skills are required. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a tight space and work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal applicant would be a detail-oriented individual that possesses a strong work ethic. Mobile experience isn't required but highly preferred , however, this position is only suited for a passionate animal lover. •For someone that hasn't worked in a mobile unit, 3-5 years of grooming experience is required. •After training in a mobile unit, you'll be able to run your own grooming rig. All Bathewell grooming units are newer, top of the line Wag'n Tails grooming vans. These vans are very comfortable, loaded with the latest in grooming technology to make the groomers life easier. The maintenance, service and storage will be completed by Bathewell. About the position Full-time with benefits Family-owned & operated Tulsa business Warm, fun, & supportive workplace A successful candidate will be trained for 1 to 3 months on mobile grooming along with Bathewell's policies and procedures Benefits Three to Four-day work week Paid vacation days Quarterly learning opportunities including mobile seminars, training videos, access to grooming technique series and national grooming seminars/expos Physical demands Bathing/Grooming is a physically active job which requires you to be able to stand, walk, kneel, etc. all day and you must be able to regularly lift and move animals weighing up to 100 lbs. (each mobile unit has hydraulic lifting tables). Additional requirements include an active driving license and excellent driving record.
CLEANING DUTIES
Cleaning the grooming area completely during/after appointment Thorough cleaning at end of each day Make sure all shampoos and colognes are refilled and/or replaced Keep up with laundry used for grooming purposes Make notes on scheduled maintenance schedules Wag'n Tails Mobile Grooming Rig Bathewell strives to provide high quality grooming services and excellent customer service to our clients. Our grooming rig provides a dedicated grooming area with tables, tubs, dryers, a Hydro-surge bathing system, high quality shampoos and colognes, high powered force dryers, and all necessary supplies to keep the area functioning properly. The grooming rig is a completely self-sustained high-end mobile grooming salon.
