In this energetic role, you will provide exceptional pet care, ensure cleanliness and safety, and support our guests' comfort throughout their stay. Your enthusiasm for animals and dedication to outstanding customer service will help make every dog's experience memorable and positive. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a lively pet care facility where animal well-being is our top priority. Duties Provide attentive care to dogs during their stay, including feeding, walking, playtime, and monitoring behavior Handle dog restraint and animal handling techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and grooming stations through regular sanitization and cleaning procedures Assist with pet boarding check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all pets are comfortable and secure Support pet grooming activities such as bathing, brushing, and basic trimming with gentle handling Observe animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness and report concerns promptly Assist with outdoor activities like walking dogs in designated areas while practicing proper leash handling and team lifting when needed Requirements Prior experience in veterinary settings, pet sitting, kennel work or animal care is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of kennel cleaning or equipment handling Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards pet owners and visitors Experience with pet grooming, animal restraint, and sanitation protocols in pet care facilities Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions during walks or outdoor playtime Excellent animal handling skills combined with a genuine passion for caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a difference in the lives of pets while developing valuable skills in animal care. $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
