We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, kind, and confident working with dogs, cats, and other household pets. What This Role Includes As a Dog Walker & Pet Care Specialist, you will visit clients' homes to provide safe, loving, and reliable care for their pets.

Responsibilities may include:

Walking dogs safely and confidently in client neighborhoods using the two points of contact on the leash. Providing care for dogs, cats, and other small pets in the client's home. Feeding pets, refreshing water, cleaning bowls, scooping litter boxes, and handling basic pet care tasks. Administering medication when needed and when instructions are provided. Reading client and pet profiles before each visit so you are prepared. Sending well written visit updates with photos through our pet care app. This helps clients envision this visit with their pets. Keeping pets comfortable, safe, and cared for during each visit. Communicating professionally with management and following client instructions closely. Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position with visits scheduled throughout the week, weekends, and holidays. We are especially looking for someone with availability in the following areas: Midday dog walking availability between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Morning availability, with some visits starting as early as 7:00 AM. Every other weekend availability. Availability for some holidays and peak pet care seasons. Work is local to Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and nearby areas. Who We Are Looking For The right person for this role is someone who takes pride in showing up on time, doing the job well, and caring for pets with patience and attention to detail. You may be a good fit if you are: Dependable, trustworthy, and responsible. Comfortable working independently. Calm and confident around dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Kind, patient, and attentive with pets. Comfortable caring for cats, small pets, fish, bunnies, and other household animals. Organized and able to follow written instructions. Professional in your communication. Comfortable using a smartphone app for schedules, notes, photos, and updates. Willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions. Comfortable cleaning up after pets when needed.

Requirements Applicants must:

Be at least 18 years old. Have a valid driver's license. Have a reliable, insured vehicle. Pass a background check. Have a smartphone with reliable service. Live within a reasonable distance of Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, or nearby communities. Be able to commit to scheduled visits and arrive on time.
