Overview Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant and become a vital part of creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment for dogs of all breeds and sizes. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for supervising daily activities, ensuring animal safety, and providing exceptional care that promotes happy, healthy pets. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive experience for both dogs and their owners, making every day rewarding and lively! Responsibilities Monitor and supervise dogs during playtime, ensuring safe interactions and proper behavior management Assist with dog handling, animal restraint, and behavior observation to promote positive socialization Maintain cleanliness of the facility through pet grooming, sanitization, and kennel cleaning to uphold health standards Support pet boarding activities by feeding, walking, and providing comfort to animals in our care Engage in outdoor work such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor play areas, and supervising outdoor activities Use pet care facility sanitization protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for all animals and staff Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behavior, health status, and special needs Experience Candidates with veterinary experience or veterinary technician background are highly valued for their understanding of animal health and behavior. Previous pet sitting or kennel experience is beneficial for managing multiple animals confidently. Experience in dog training or animal handling enhances your ability to promote good manners and social skills among dogs. Skills in pet grooming, animal restraint, heavy lifting, team lifting, and outdoor work are advantageous. A background in customer service within pet care facilities or veterinary clinics demonstrates your commitment to providing exceptional client interactions. Familiarity with animal behavior assessment and pet boarding procedures will help you excel in this lively role. $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
