About us Foolish Heart Farm is a favored pet boarding facility located in Seneca, SC. Our goal is keeping pets safe, well cared for, and happy during their stay. Our organization is seeking an enthusiastic Kennel Assistant to join our team. This position requires a strong commitment to animal care and a willingness to perform various related duties. We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners and coworkers. Kennel Assistants should be well organized with the ability to carry out instructions and utilize our software. Our ideal candidate will have good communication skills and dedication to work with a busy team. The Kennel Assistant will be responsible for feeding, giving medication, monitoring play time and maintaining a clean kennel and yard. It involves animal care and training techniques along with customer interaction. It is essential that applicants enjoy working with and have the ability to handle large and small pets. Kennel Assistants start at $13/hour during training with frequent merit raises, tips, and holiday bonuses.
