Job:

-Camp Counselor position involves monitoring the play yards, interacting with the dogs, cleaning on a consistent basis, and attending to animals on site 365 days a year.

Responsibilities for job:

Must maintain a clean environment by cleaning up messes during entire shift. Supervise dogs in play yards and maintain a safe environment by monitoring health and behavior and being attentive at all times. Feeding, cleaning cabins, giving medications, and lifting heavy items (50+ lbs.) Interact with dogs and team members well and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements for job:

Be detail oriented, energetic, outgoing, and upbeat with a positive attitude. Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and demonstrate good customer service skills. Must love dogs and all that goes with them. This includes a noisy environment, hair, their messes, and more. Cannot be allergic to dogs. Prior experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs at times. Must be observant and able to work in all weather conditions all days of the year including weekends and holidays.

Shifts:

We are a doggie daycare and overnight boarding facility that cares for dogs 365 days a year, including Saturdays, Sundays, and every holiday. If you are not able to work during these times, please do not apply for a position with us. Monday-Saturday shifts are 6:30am-1:00pm or 12:45pm-7:00pm, with the potential for longer shifts. Sunday and holiday shifts are 7:45am-11:00am or 3:45pm-7:00pm.
